Gaffney Kroese Supply Corp. History

Founded by the Kroese family in 1931 in New York City, Gaffney-Kroese Supply Corp. began as a wholesale electrical supply distributor. The original location was in four hundred square feet of rented office space in a former civil war hospital from which all business activities were conducted. Our original customers included various transportation entities, water and power authorities and local government. Often, deliveries were made by walking the street with a hand cart or via the New York City subway system!

While we have outgrown our origins, adding numerous locations and products, many of our distributor agreements date from our earliest days. Today, three generations later, Gaffney-Kroese Supply Corp. remains a family owned company managed by the son and grandsons of the founder.

Currently with locations in New Jersey, New York, Alabama, Florida, Illinois, Pennsylvania and Texas, Gaffney-Kroese Supply Corp. is a leading domestic and international supplier of electrical and instrumentation materials, oilfield and pump equipment, safety products, industrial consumables and engineering and procurement services.
